Richard I. Ugoh

Mr. Ugoh is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales. He qualified as a solicitor in the United Kingdom through the BPP Law School in Holborn, London. He qualified as an advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2003. He is also one of the managing partners of the firm to date.

He worked in Diamond Bank (Head Office) as one of their in-house Legal Advisers from 2005 to 2008. During the period of his employment within the bank, he worked directly with some government regulatory and enforcement agencies on matters that concerned the bank, like EFCC, CID, Corporate Affairs Commission, Foreign Courts and documents implementation in Nigeria, Foreign Embassies etc.

He runs a versatile legal practice. He specializes in Immigration and Asylum Law, Corporate Law, Housing Law, Family Law, Wills and probate and on occasion, is noted to undertake pro-bono work on behalf of various charities. He is selfless, hard working, amiable and diligent in his approach to his work and towards his clients.

He is a licensed Player Agent with FIFA, a FIFA Match Agent and equally a UEFA Match Agent and regularly involves with the negotiation and transfer of players/coaches and organising of friendly matches between club sides and between countries national teams. He attends business and football meetings from time to time around the world and can bring his international experience and exposures on board.

He is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (Arb), and a Certified Trainer (ITOL), licensed by the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning UK.

Kingsley. N. Nwokolo

Mr. Nwokolo is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and one of the Partners of the firm. He qualified as a solicitor in the United Kingdom in 2005 having undertaken his education at the BPP Professional Education located at Holborn, London. He is also an advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria having obtained his qualification in 1999.

In 2005, he then proceeded to the University of Westminster, London to obtain his Master of Laws (LLM) in DPR (Dispute Prevention/Resolution). The theme of his research was on Domestic Violence.

He then decided to undertake a difference career path and had a two year stint at Citizens International Bank, V.I, Nigeria at the head office. He was employed within the Financial Institutions Unit in charge of the Stockbrokers section.

He has worked within the Civil Service, at the Public Guardianship Office now the Office of the Public Guardian, North London where he worked as a Client Adviser from 2003 – 2007.

He previously worked at Ennon Solicitors, London, as an Assistant Solicitor, specializing in Criminal Litigation, Immigration and Asylum Law, and Civil Proceedings (Divorce) from 2007 – 2009. He then joined Kayders Solicitors as a Consultant and specialised in Criminal Litigation, Immigration and Asylum Law. He later furthered his career by taking up a partnership position at Achom and Partners, London where he was until May 2011 when he joined our firm.

At our firm, he has been able to express himself in the following areas – Immigration and Asylum Law, Employment Law, Criminal Litigation/Crime, Housing and Complaints. He is amiable, diligent and hard working.

Abiodun. A. Adewole

Mr. Adewole is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales. He qualified as a Solicitor in the United Kingdom in 2008 at BPP Professional Education in Holborn, London. He is also an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria having obtained his qualification in 1999. He has 12 years experience of active advocacy and litigation in Nigeria specializing in all areas of law.

In 2004 he proceeded to the Southampton Solent University in Southampton, to obtain his Master of Laws. His research was on Intellectual Property. He was a partner with Christchurch Solicitors, where he specialised in Immigration and Asylum Law and Civil proceedings, before joining our firm in 2011. His generosity in relation to his time and attention to detail is unfounded and he is equally meticulous and diligent in his approach to his work.

He is a seasoned and ardent professional. He is also very amiable and his approach to clients is renowned in terms of the spectrum of his client base. Despite his departure from the now defunct Christchurch Solicitors, 95% of his clients from his previous firm still refer matters to him. This atones to his professionalism and his thorough approach towards their matters, keeps them coming back for more.

He is a selfless individual who believes in representing the best interest of his clients at all times .

Miss. Sarah Forey

Miss. Forey is presently a final year law student at the Brunel University, United Kingdom, studying for an LLB degree. She is currently engaged with our firm in part time voluntary basis, to enable her gain the needed experience that would equip her for the journey ahead after she is fully qualified as a lawyer.

She is working towards becoming a Barrister in the UK due to her good flair for advocacy. Because of her background in the United Kingdom and London especially, she has been exposed to the current affairs in this country at an early age, and it has served as an eye opener which fuelled her desire to practice law. She plans to become a Judge in the near future so as to assist in the just dispensation of justice.

Miss. Forey has worked as a youth representative officer for Lambeth Local Authority Council in London. Her role in the job required her to organize meetings, conferences and produce weekly newsletters and to attend board meetings with officials of the local authority.

She also previously worked with Diageo, as a project worker. She attended legal board meetings to give opinions and advice in her areas of work. She reviewed contracts and carried out other administrate assignments and equally applied her IT skills to work.

She is a self motivated and enthusiastic individual that believes in only working to a high standard. She also believes in striving for excellence, by constantly reading to update her knowledge in variety of fields of interest.

External Consultants

Dr. Peter Orji

Mr. Orji is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales. He is also an advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He obtained his LLB qualification at the University of Benin with a First Class (Honours) Degree. He attended the Nigerian Law School for his professional Barrister at law qualification where he clearly demonstrated his level of intelligence again by bagging a First Class Honours and carted away numerous awards in various categories amongst which was the best overall student of the Enugu Campus of the Nigerian Law School, 2003.

He was previously a partner with the firm before moving on to pursue other careers in the academics by taking up lecturing assignment with the Law department of the Southampton University, United Kingdom.

He is currently a Doctorate degree holder (Ph.D), specialising in Electronic Commerce Law. The theme of his research is The Evolution of a Regulatory Framework for E-Commerce – Metamorphosis of Traditional Principles. He has a spectrum of experience that spans from the lecture rooms to the court room. In 2003 to 2005 he lectured in Legal System and Property Law at the University of Benin, Nigeria

He is also a versatile professional as his interest in the legal profession span from Electronic Commerce Law and Contract Law to Criminal litigation, Immigration and Asylum Law.
